The administration led by Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi is gearing up to introduce a distinctive initiative, which will provide complimentary luxury bus trips to senior citizens embarking on pilgrimages to destinations such as Ayodhya and other nearby sacred sites. Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister, revealed that the Delhi government is actively considering the launch of the Mukhya Mantri Tirth Yatra Yojana, a scheme aimed at facilitating senior citizens’ visits to holy places located in the vicinity of the national capital.
Expressing his vision, Arvind Kejriwal conveyed, “It is my aspiration that every elderly resident of Delhi can partake in the pilgrimage experience. However, there are instances when train options are not readily available. In such scenarios, the utilization of luxury buses could serve as an ideal alternative to facilitate journeys to nearby sanctified locations, such as Ayodhya.”
Recently, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal engaged with a gathering of individuals embarking on a pilgrimage to the Dwarkadhish Temple in Gujarat, at the Thyagraj Stadium. During this interaction, he expressed his hope that the blessings sought by these pilgrims would extend to the prosperity of Delhi and the entire nation. Notably, the scheme has already garnered a remarkable response, with over 71,000 citizens from Delhi availing pilgrimage journeys through 72 train trips, as reported by Arvind Kejriwal.
